CAGES FOR TRAINING & FIGHTING

The centre piece of any Mixed Martial Arts facility, a quality MMA cage raises the profile, the feel and the training level at your gym.

There is a massive difference in quality of cages sold in the UK. We only offer high quality, UK made cages which will stand the test of time.

We know that once you have built a gym with REVGEAR our customers will stay with us.

But don’t take our word for it, ask Eryk Paulson (CSW), Rafael Cordeiro (KINGS), ICY MIKE (Hard2Hurt) IMA and hundreds of other world class MMA facilities world wide. We ARE the standard in Industrial MMA.

What Size Cages do you offer?
Whatever size you want. Cages are made in panels. Each panel is made to a size to create the overall structure. Common sizes of panel are between 1.75 and 2.25 metres but essentially any size can be made.

Most cages are eight panels to create an Octagon MMA Cage like on the famous UFC but some are also done as Hexagons with six panels.

Another increasingly popular cage design is a circular MMA cage with panels made in a curve which completes a circle shape when put together.

Like Boxing rings, MMA cages can be built to sit on the floor, a small platform or a full elevated competition cage.

Floor MMA Cages

Due to the shape of a cage a floor cage is different in construction to a floor ring. The panels are the same on a floor cage as they would be in a competition cage. The location of a floor cage within the gym will to a degree affect how it is fitted.

Revgear will ensure your cage is right for its location within your facility during our consultation process.

Elevated MMA Cages

An elevated MMA cage can solve issues for a facility in a way that differences between a floor ring and elevated ring does not. Essentially an elevated cage can be positioned anywhere in a gym as it supports its own structure as opposed to a floor cage requiring “anchor points” in the room.

If the cage is to be a centre piece of your facility we would recommend you use an elevated cage for both stability and aesthetic purposes.

Competition or Platform Cages are designed only really for those who are intending to use them for fight events. The platform itself is similar to that of a boxing ring platform (see above)

How to install an MMA Cage?

This is an area where we may well recommend using our installation service if this is part of an overall fit. Pricing will be dependent on location. If you are confident you can install a cage we are happy to supply it to your facility and give advice or guidance as required.

The materials used for a boxing canvas versus a cage are usually different as the ground fighting element of MMA requires a less rough surface than a canvas. However all can be printed upon and customized. REVGEAR are happy to work to the customers requirements alongside our partners both in the UK and Europe.

Can I customise my cage?
YES! Livery for the cage pads, top covers, skirts on elevated cages and the flooring can all have custom livery.
The 'canvas' can all be made to your specification be it with your Gym logos or with sponsors, web URLS and messaging.

There are options on the type of flooring used for cages depending on its use case.

How soon can I expect delivery of an MMA Cage?
Lead times vary depending on production schedule and the specifics of the ring or cage that you need. Average waiting time is 6-8 weeks. It is always best to order a ring a long way in advance of opening your facility.

European and UK delivery times will be different, again depending on distances and production schedule.
