Revgear Amateur Muay Thai Shin guards are ergonomically designed to fit around the shin area for both light sparring and amateur rules Muay Thai.

Amateur shin guards are a "sock" design and are pulled on over the leg. For this reason they are often also used in light sparring for MMA as they can allow limited grappling also.

Designed to take the edge of a blow and reduce chances of injury to the shin and area around the ankle and instep, amateur shin pads are not to be confused with the heavier weight sparring version in our Original Muay Thai range and should not be chosen if sparring is your main purpose for your shinguard choice.

The padding is in line with amateur rules (IFMA) Muay Thai and come in three sizes which cover youth through to adult.
